Join us for a virtual lunch with Dr. Brenda Nicolas (Zapotec) to discuss the survival for and of indigenous and communities of color during the global pandemic and ongoing racial violence! Dr. Nicolas is an Assistant Professor in Chicana/o & Latina/o Studies at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). In her research, she examines how the experiences of the U.S. raised generations are central to sustaining transnational immigrant Indigenous communities across borders.
