Films are studied as a medium of artistic expression from a particular time and place; moreover, reactions to them yield insights into the values and culture of different peoples. CJIR's film series is intended to promote cross-cultural understanding. We will pick off where last academic year's faculty-led Asian film series left off. Fall 2024 will primarily feature films from East Asia. In Spring 2025, we aim to transition to films from Latin America.
